Here in Catfarm, we come together to share our skills and gifts to make projects happen that create a more regenerative and connected way of Living.

Before we finally meet each other and let our paws co-create beautiful projects, we invite you to get a bit more familiar with our community culture!

This is what happens when you arrive!

🐱 KITTEN STATUS

During your first Month you are a Kitten at the Catfarm. A Kitten will eventually mature into a Cat → But Always remember “We all meow the same”.

Why kitten, I wanna be a Cat!? We know that landing in a community can be beautiful but also a bit disorienting and hard. For this reason, in the time as a kitten we invite you to be curious, explore the different roles, activities and projects that are going on in the community, so that you can understand how daily life is and what you can give your contribution to.

We expect from you to be present in these moments:

• 6 hours volunteer (Monday to Friday) - A combination of daily tasks like cooking and cleaning + activities of the circles and projects you are participating in.
• Morning meetings
• Solution councils (when we gather the whole community to find solutions together)
• Community clean (a big clean of all Catfarm done by everyone at the same time, usually on Wednesday morning).

We also invite you to take part in the circles meetings that happen on Monday and Tuesday, to understand how roles and tasks are divided.

Who can I ask for support?

• The Recruitment Cats, the Empower Cats, and the Care Cats are the ones that are specifically there for you in your first week/ month integration process so if you have any doubts, questions, need or anything you want to share and ask for support, you can connect with them.
